How it started
Born from a local creative community.
Atom Files began at a local hackathon organized by Origineer with VCC for the film industry and influencer community.
Filmmakers and creators work with enormous files, short deadlines, and collaborators in many places. We saw how often the tools around them introduced slow uploads, confusing limits, and privacy trade-offsâand started building the tool we wanted them to have.
That practical beginning still shapes the product: fast enough for real creative work, understandable without technical training, and available on fair terms.

Our goal is simple: make private file movement feel effortless, preserve Canadian data residency, and keep the service safe and fair for the people who rely on it.
